The Requirements
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:- A bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate comfortably over the phone and through email.
- A self-starter mentality, professional demeanor and drive for results.
- The ability to use a computer and relevant software packages, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- A demonstrated track record of working both independently and in a team environment.
- The ability to travel occasionally and to work non-traditional hours and weekends as needed.
- Adobe InDesign publishing software.

The Role
- The Mobile Showroom program
- The Innovation Showroom and Red Carpet Tours program
- Product procurement and replacement
Your activities involving the event planning of The Innovation Showroom and Red Carpet Tours program will be highly customer focused. You will be the face of the showroom to our top customers, ensuring everything is set up, clean and ready to go prior to each new tour, while also sending out the communications materials to the sales reps, tour guide, and any executives who need to attend the tour or showroom event.
Procuring and replacing products for the fleet vehicles, displays, trade shows and Innovation Showroom will round out your key responsibilities as Marketing and Event Coordinator. You'll work with contacts across our portfolio of leading brands, our display house and third-party vendors to order the appropriate products, displays, and promotional items needed for the successful operation of these programs and events.
It's important to note that although this is a high-profile role, it is also highly administrative. Within each of your areas of responsibility you'll track budgets, reconcile invoices, manage scheduling, create reports and handle other components such as booking caterers and meeting rooms. First and foremost, to excel in this role you'll need to be an expert project manager and a driven professional who is well versed at managing multiple priorities and tight timelines, while adhering to budgetary constraints. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to collaborate and build relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts including customers, vendors, and your colleagues throughout all levels of the organization -- from department leaders to members of the executive management team. We're looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves to pack up boxes one day, and then put on a business suit to greet one of our top customers the next day.This is a demanding role that will require a strong work ethic and the ability to keep a lot of balls in the air.
